Had the pleasure of meeting Fred and Mitch from Redknee (http://www.redknee.com/) here in Melbourne yesterday. They described to me the breadth of offerings they have in the Telco vertical and I was very impressed with what they have to offer. They have had great global successes to date with their real time billing, rating and charging solutions and have several Australia based customers. They offer on premise and cloud versions and are a strong Global Microsoft partner. What captured my attention is the size of some of their customers in terms of subscriber base! Telstra obviously has a large subscriber base locally, given their presence and offerings in the market but some of the Asian and US customers were massive in comparison. They also mentioned to me that they have scale tested CRM Dynamics to 250 million subscribers!
They also informed me of a recent win at large Tier 1 in north America for billing http://www.redknee.com/about_us/news_events/news_releases/news08211201.aspx. Well done to the team. I’m looking forward to working closer with them.
